This summer proved to be a huge splash, thanks to our supporters! As fall approaches, we shift from providing summer gear to back-to-school wardrobes. Below are hand written letters we've received from clients over the past couple of months. We are reminded of how meaningful the work we do each day is, and how grateful we are to have wonderful donors. You make it possible for us to help children feel special, look great, and possess confidence as they begin the school year.

CTKF Happenings
Eat, drink and change lives!
CTKF's annual Cook For Kids
fundraiser is just a few weeks away! Join us for delicious food and a silent auction as we raise funds for children in need on Thursday, October 4th, 2018 at 6:00PM at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center.
CTKF in the news
Check out News12 Connecticut's coverage of the CTKF experience, including a glimpse of a very excited client, Olivia, and her mom picking out a new wardrobe. Clients like Olivia inspire us to reach as many families as possible.
Donor Spotlight
A huge thank you to Morgan Stanley employees! Our shoppers were thrilled to receive new swimwear, and left our store feeling confident for their next day at the pool or beach. These children are used to wearing ill-fitting or old swimwear, and we can't thank you enough for changing that experience for them this summer.
Volunteer Spotlight
Kids Helping Kids volunteers decorated and filled book bags with school supplies for CTKF to distribute to clients. Each bag was creatively designed with care, ready for a shopper to take home. Thank you KHK volunteers for your wonderful contribution!
Join the backpack brigade
Imagine starting school and not having a sturdy backpack to use, or, not having a backpack at all! CTKF is determined to help provide them to children that can't afford a new one. Just $16 gets a child a new backpack.
Two years of service
Hundreds of children have entered the CTKF doors since our official opening in October 2016, and we've given away thousands of new socks and new underwear over the past two years. We are honored to play a role in reducing feelings of shame from lack of clean clothing, and instilling a little more self esteem in each child that crosses our path!

Our mission is to provide new and quality used clothing to low-income or in-crisis school age children, free of charge. We envision a community in which every child has quality clothing so that he or she may attend school with the confidence and self-esteem needed to achieve academic success.
