2018 Fall Membership Meeting
The M&SCA of Eastern PA Fall Membership Meeting took place on Wednesday, October 10 at the Renaissance Philadelphia Airport Hotel. We were honored to welcome United Association General President Mark McManus as our guest speaker for the evening.
President McManus spoke about the importance of a strong labor-management partnership not only on the local level, but the national level. He also provided updates on initiatives the UA is taking to combat the ongoing workforce shortage and what we can do here in the Philadelphia area to help.
This was also the final meeting for outgoing Executive VP Tim Brink. After 11 years with of the M&SCA of Eastern PA, he is moving on to become the COO for MCAA in Rockville, MD. The members, staff, and labor partners cannot thank Tim, as well as his wife Amy, enough for all they've done for the Association and we wish them all the best as they embark on their new journey. Their impact on our local industry and those that work within it has been immeasurable.
