Waynesboro Players will present Twelve Angry Jurors, a stage adaption by Sherman L. Sergel, based on the 1956 Studio One TV movie, Twelve Angry Men by Reginal Rose. The play, directed by Steve Winegard, centers around 12 jurors sequestered in the locked jury room, having been instructed to unanimously decide the fate of a 19-year-old accused of murdering his father. As relevant today as it was in the 50s, this death penalty drama tells how the 12 jurors reach their final, "beyond a reasonable doubt" verdict.
