ALOHA & MAHALO REV. RYAN!

One Service This Sunday, November 4th @ 9:30AM
ALL SAINTS' DAY AND CELEBRATION OF REV. RYAN'S MINISTRY
|
|
We invite you to join us for our Annual All Saints' Day Celebration. This year, we will gather as one worshiping congregation at 9:30AM as we mark a bittersweet occasion: Reverend Ryan's final Sunday at All Saints'. The Right Reverend Bob Fitzpatrick, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Hawai‘i will preside over the All Saints’ Day celebration which will include baptisms and a liturgy to conclude Reverend Ryan’s ministry at All Saints’. A special Aloha Hour will follow the service and we invite attendees to bring a dish to share.
After five-and-half years serving as the Rector and Head of School at All Saints’ Rev. Ryan has been called by the Right Reverend David Rice, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of San Joaquin, California, to serve as the Dean of the Cathedral of St. James in Fresno, California.
A new baby, new jobs, a new city, a new home, a new spiritual community—the Newmans find themselves on a wild, new adventure. They go with our blessing and deepest mahalo.
|
|
This Sunday, during our All Saints' Day service,
we will welcome two new members of our 'Ohana into the household of God.
Please hold our candidates for Baptism in your prayers:
Alessandra Kahula Grace Newman
Daughter of Ryan and Erin Newman
Kylan Teruo Wakuta
Son of Kylie and Maricel Wakuta

SUNDAY SCHOOL THIS WEEK
November 1: No Sunday School
|
|
We invite EVERYONE to join us this Sunday for our special All Saints' Day celebration, including keiki of all ages!
Is it okay for my child to participate in the whole service--they move around and can be noisy?
YES! Absolutely!
God blessed keiki with the ability to wiggle. The joyous sounds, movements, and curiosity of keiki are gifts from God. Please do not feel you have to subdue those joys in God’s house. We want God’s keiki to be comfortable. During the celebration of Eucharist, keiki are welcome to move closer to the altar or to stand on the pew to see what is going on.
