Trafalgar Park Community Centre and Fire Station 3
Join us on September 22 to celebrate! 
Oakville's newest facilities - Trafalgar Park Community Centre and Fire Station 3 officially open on Saturday, September 22 with a full day of free activities for the entire family starting at 10 a.m.

Check out the Fire Station welcome ceremony and tour at 10:30 a.m., followed by the community centre grand opening celebration at 11 a.m. You can also also enjoy:
  • Family skates, including a free reunion skate with the Oakville Blades
  • The Hockey Circus Show
  • Artist talk with Laura Marotta about her sculpture, 'Octagon for Trafalgar Park'
  • Origami crafts and cartooning
  • Basketball, table tennis, badminton, pickleball and Zumba® 
  • Food trucks 
Parking is limited and residents are encouraged to walk, carpool or take Oakville Transit

Are you on the voters' list? 

Municipal Election voting day is October 22. Are you ready to vote? Check to see if your name is on the voters' list online. Not on the list?  Add your name easily using our online form. Voter cards have also been mailed - watch for yours. If you don't get your voter card by the end of September, be sure to let us know by contacting the Clerk's department at
Kerr St. Underpass furnishings update
 
After extensive public consultation, the town now has a suite of preferred streetscape elements, including benches, bike rings, litter bins, railings and more, to present to Planning and Development Council for approval on October 1. The selected furnishings will be installed from the the rail crossing south to Speers Road. Construction on the overall Kerr Street Underpass project begins in 2020.

The next Council meeting takes place Monday, September 24 at 7 p.m. Join us for the latest Council updates including recommendations from the Administrative Services Committee and Community Services Committee meetings and the Mayor's annual State of the Town address
