What a Day for a Run!

The SCSS Apple Run 5k Committee would like to sincerely thank everyone for making our inaugural run a success! Over 250 runners, walkers, and candy-apple fun-runners were out in Nichols on a stunningly beau tiful September morning.

A special word of thanks to top sponsors and friends of the race: Colony Grill, Silverman's Farm, Poland Spring, Kind, Children's Dentistry of Trumbull, BTX Global Logistics and Nichol's Fire Department. Without their kindness and generosity, as well as the goodness of countless others, an event like this simply could not happen.

All funds raised will be dedicated to St. Catherine of Siena School enhancement projects. The children of St. Catherine of Siena grammar school thank you for your kindness, enthusiasm, and goodwill.

We'd like to leave you with this thought: "There will come a day when [we] can no longer run. Today is not that day" ~ Anonymous. It is with that sentiment, that we wish you a happy and healthy Fall Season! Run on! We'll see you in 2019!!

A personal thank you to James & Lisa Palmieri, all the committee members,  and race staff for their time and dedication in making this event possible. We are truly blessed.
