Families will receive information on how to recommit and reserve their student's spot for next school year following their attendance. Please RSVP so we can plan appropriately. Childcare is provided for children 2 years and older (and potty trained).

Jr. High Preview - Friday, Feb. 8th
Want to welcome a friend to CVCS and also possibly earn a referral credit if they love it and enroll?
Then invite your 6th or 7th grader friends and their parents to spend the morning at the Secondary Campus getting a glimpse into the transition ahead to Jr. High. 8:30 am - Noon.

Friday Feb. 8th, 6:30-9:30 at the Elementary Campus? It's going to be so fun!
$5/ticket at the door. Mom's sign up to help and your dad & daughters can attend for free.
This is open to the entire Treasure Valley, so invite your friends to join you as you show your daughters how they should expect to be treated by their date in the future.

Competition Robotics
The robotics team competed in their first scrimmage last weekend and took 2nd place. They learned many ideas from their competition and are now working hard to improve their robot before their March competition at the University of Idaho. Good luck team.

Jan. 28 - 1st Grade Watch Me Night
Plan on joining your first grader this MONDAY at 6 pm in the Elementary Gym to see what they do in their Physical Education class. It's such a fun night to play with your student.

Prayer Group on Elementary Campus
Jen Hazen leads a moms prayer group the 1
st
and 3
rd
Thursdays of the month at the elementary. They meet at 2:40-3:10pm in the foyer. Their main purpose is to build connection between families and between the school and families and to pray for our kids and our school.

Vision & Hearing Screening Feb. 1st
On Friday, February 1st, the Idaho Chapter of the Lion’s Club will come to our Elementary campus to perform a health screening for your child.
All students in Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades will be tested for Visual Acuity and Hearing.

Pre-Order your Autographed Books
This Christian author is coming for Dr. Seuss week and it's going to be so great to hear from her. If you would like to pre-order some of her books, she will sign them and bring them with her on Dr. Seuss week.

PTF Valentines
Want to send a special Valentine’s Day treat to your students? The PTF has your back. Parents can order Valentines treats to surprise them at school. The order form will be sent in the communication folder on February 1st. Drop the forms off at the office. Treats will be delivered to students on February 13th (as there is no school on the 14th).

Kenya Outreach - Expansion International
Some of the high schoolers are going to Kenya with Expansion International April 12-22. If you would like to donate school supplies or candy for their VBS to bless the kids in Kenya, students can bring them to be collected in their homeroom or Bible Class by March 21st.

Boise Rescue Mission
Each month our Secondary students have an opportunity to prepare and serve a meal at the Boise Rescue Mission on the 3rd Monday of the month. Monday February 18th is our next opportunity.
