Celebrate Family Day with us!
Hundreds of free activities on February 18!
The Town of Oakville's popular Family Day celebration returns on Monday, February 18 with a full slate of free activities and special events for all ages and abilities to enjoy.
Participants can get active in a variety of classes including yoga, kickboxing and Zumba, visit Oakville Museum to learn about local history or enjoy  Storytime at select Oakville Public Library branches and town facilities. You can  also catch the Oakville Blades play the Burlington Cougars at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex and take part in free swimming and skating at participating pools and arenas.

Celebrate Black History Month

Visit Oakville Museum to discover artifacts, pictures and a documentary telling the stories of the many African-American families who settled in Oakville and helped develop our community. While you're there, don't miss The Underground Railroad Next Stop, Freedom! 
presentation that tells the true story of Deborah Brown's heroic escape from a life of slavery.
Take our traffic calming survey

We're preparing an update to our traffic calming process including a review of the current posted speed limits on town roads and new legislation about the potential use of Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE), or photo radars, in Ontario.
We'd like to know what you think. Complete our speed limit and traffic calming survey by February 18 to provide your input.
