Orange County, NY - Christopher Gomez has joined Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (MHV) as Senior Vice President/ Chief Retail Officer. As Chief Retail Officer, he will be leading the Branch infrastructure and Call Center operations, as well as overseeing Marketing, member experience, MHV Investment and Retirement Center, and the Mid-Hudson Valley Insurance Agency. Gomez is eager to boost MHV's involvement in Orange County and expand the member experience and satisfaction.

 

Gomez has over 16 years of experience in banking and management. He started his career at HSBC Bank in Middletown and most recently was managing the New Jersey footprint at Visions Federal Credit Union. As a lifelong resident of Orange County, Gomez firmly believes in making an impact in the community which he currently lives and grew up. Gomez seeks to help the community by empowering the MHV philosophy in guiding their members to discover their financial possibilities, wherever they are on their journey.

 

When asked about returning to Orange County, Gomez noted, "I have always wanted to call Orange County my home, both professionally and personally. I want to make an impact with a non-profit that is devoted to helping Hudson Valley residents."

 

Gomez is a Middletown High School and SUNY Orange alum. He is looking forward to being actively engaged and involved in Orange County organizations and events. He currently resides in Montgomery, NY with his wife.
