New and Improved Pinergy Search Slated for Early 2019

We've just finished putting the final touches on a new Pinergy Search and are busy testing and perfecting it. You'll see the results of our efforts in early 2019. Our goal is to provide an easier-to-use Search and Search Results that combines the functions you already know and use with a more modern design that works equally well on desktops, laptops, tablets, and phones. As with our recent homepage redesign, you'll soon notice larger fonts, modern buttons, and ease of use no matter the size of your screen. We're also making common tasks easier, functions like saving and loading searches, adding additional criteria, and one-click selections of towns. Sorting lists will be more robust, and you'll have the ability to add, remove, and rearrange columns in 1-Line View. You'll also have options for enhanced statistics, charts, and graphs! Cloud CMA Gets a Fresh, New Look (and More Features)

Cloud CMA, the free report-generating tool that makes you look awesome in front of your clients, will soon get a little awesome-er. On September 18, you'll see the option to switch to a new and improved version of the service in the upper-right corner once you've logged in. You'll notice a few things about the new site: (1) an updated interface will be used, though it will retain Cloud CMA's familiar look and feel; (2) public records data will populate subject property fields automatically; (3) comps may be selected and de-selected from a larger, expanded map interface; (4) a new default theme ("Modern") will be available for reports. You'll have the option to switch back and forth until later this year when the new site becomes the default. Check out Cloud CMA's new interface today located via the main navigation, as a link on the Tools page, and as an option under Quick Links all in Pinergy!

New "Electric" Fields Added for Listings!

Let Them Know How "Green" Your Listing Is

Going "Green" is good for the environment - and can save your buyers a ton on their monthly bills. By popular demand, we've added six new "electric" fields for your listings: Solar PV - Seller Owned, Solar PV - 3rd Party Owned, Wind Turbine - Seller Owned, Wind Turbine - 3rd Party Owned, Pre-Wired for Renewables, and Ready for Renewables. Be sure to update your listings that have these "green" features today.

Double-Check Your Listing's Expiration Date

When you are inputting a new listing to MLS PIN, you are required to input an expiration date for your listing. Under Section 1.11 of the Rules and Regulations, the expiration date on your MLS listing must be "a definite and final expiration date as negotiated and set forth in a written agreement between the Listing Broker and the Seller." Before you post your listing to the MLS system, please double-check the expiration date to make sure it is the same date that the seller has authorized in writing. Use Advanced Criteria to Sharpen the Focus of Your Market Reports

Pinergy's Market Reports include sold statistics, pending statistics, various market share reports, and more. You may limit a report to reflect only your selected property types, timeframes, and towns. But that's just the beginning! If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll find an Advanced Criteria menu that allows you to add multiple criteria to your report. These criteria include items like Style, Year Built, Lot Size, Living Area, Number of Bedrooms, Number of Bathrooms, Original Price, List Price, and Sale Price. Room levels and descriptions may be specified. Days on Market and Days to Offer may be stipulated. Zip Code and many more items are available, too! Just select an item that interests you, specify your desired value(s), and then click the gray Add button. Once an item has been added, you may add another, so the scope of your market reports can be as wide or as narrow as you'd like. So make the most of your market reports by using Advanced Criteria!

By the Numbers with Deanna Rodriguez

Numbers have a certain rhythm to them, and Staff Accountant (and amateur percussionist) Deanna Rodriguez has tapped into those rhythms at MLS PIN for the past four years. Deanna's main role is to reconcile monthly costs to and from MLS PIN, ensure accurate reporting, and prepare various financial schedules, but she's always willing to assist others in the accounting department as needed. Numbers have always been central to Deanna's career, and she has worked in all phases of accounting for previous employers. A current goal of hers is coordinating MLS accounting processes toward more electronic and environmentally-friendly record storage (which is appropriate for a gardening enthusiast like her). She also enjoys walking, working out, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. Here's to many more years, Deanna, of crunching numbers and fostering growth at MLS PIN.
