Senior's Social
Join us each Monday from 1-2:30 in the Gathering Place for a cup of  coffee or tea and a sweet and enjoy the company of other Seniors in our community.

Marshall's Men - Pub Night
On Wednesday, October 10, 6 pm the Men's Group will gather at the Brassie Pub in Ancaster for some fellowship together. Rev. Etienne will join us on this occasion, giving us an opportunity to talk with him and get to know him better. Let Dave Putnam know if you plan to attend ([email protected]).

Name Bars
If anyone would like a magnetic name bar (gold with black lettering) that attaches to your clothing with a magnet rather than a pin, a new order is going in the end of next week.  Kindly provide your name and $6.00 per bar to the office or email me at [email protected] and I will include you in the order.

New Board Vice-Chair
The Marshall Board is very pleased to announce that Janice Thompson has agreed to accept the important role of Vice-Chair of the Board.  Jan has been a Committee Chair on the Board in the past, was recently a member of the Minister Search Committee, has participated in many church activities and groups, and will continue to serve as a member of the Worship Committee.  Her experience and commitment to the work of Marshall Church will be very valuable, as she takes on this key position in the church. 
 
United Church Anniversaries

On September 24, 2018 from 10am - 5pm there will be a special day of celebration and learning "Marking Moments" of several milestone United Church anniversaries happening this year.  The event will be held at Emmanuel College in Toronto or you can follow it via live stream.  Please see the link for more information.

 
International Day of Older Persons
The city of Hamilton will be holding an International Day  of Older Persons Event on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 10am - 2pm.  There will be special Presentations, an Information Fair, Refreshments & prizes.  Visit www.agefriendlyhamilton.ca for more information.
