SCHEDULING & CONFLICTS

May seem like a long way out, but a lot of planning goes into scheduling conferences for 240 students' parents over a 4 day period! A Conference date & time will be assigned to parents within the next few weeks. You have an opportunity to let us know of any conflicts you may have with a particular day or time. If not, then you will be notified of your assigned day and time in late October. Once assigned, rescheduling will not be available.
ANY CONFLICT OR SPECIFIC REQUEST MUST BE INTO MS. CAROL
NO LATER THAN OCT. 5TH
Conferences are scheduled Monday through Thursday, in 15 minute intervals,
between 1:15pm - 3:30pm.
It will be at the teachers discretion whether or not they can accommodate a request for another day, time or week after conference week.

It is important that parents make note of this week on your calendars and plan ahead.
This entire week is a minimum day dismissal (12:30pm) each day, including Friday.

Please contact Ms. Carol in the school office either by phone or email if you have a conflict or request.     [email protected]  /  545-0379

A Note from Mrs. Ryan
Dear Parents,

In my message last week, I shared our plans to mark the anniversary of the Tubbs Fire here at school on Tuesday, October 9 th. Fr. Denis will celebrate Mass with us at 9:30 AM and all parents are welcome to attend. The theme will be gratitude for the goodness of God and for all the support our school community has received this past year. Along with regular school work that day, there will be activities to appreciate the many people who have helped our school recover. We plan to make it an upbeat and positive day.

The Diocese of Santa Rosa, along with ministers and religious leaders from other denominations have planned a prayer event for Sunday, October 7th at 2:00 PM to mark the anniversary.   It will take place on the Cardinal Newman football field with child/family activities that will happen in front St. Rose School. "Together In Hope" promises to be the largest ever prayer gathering of Protestants and Catholics in our county. First responders are invited to come in uniform and people who experienced loss are encouraged to bring a "personal treasure". Perhaps you have salvaged something from the ruble that has now become sacred to you. I plan to bring the six art tiles that were found among the ashes of the preschool. All of us are discovering our own ways to heal and move on. If you think this prayer service will be helpful to you and your family, I hope you will join us.

As the anniversary approaches, media covering and other events may cause some of our students to experience anxiety and sadness. Please do not hesitate to let us know if your child has any special needs or if we can help in any way.
