Golf Tournament a Success!
This past Monday, nearly 100 golfers, volunteers and staff came together for York Catholic's 28th Annual Golf Tournament at the Out Door Country Club in York.

Thank you to Steve Carr '74 and Art Full '80 for chairing another successful outing. Not only were we blessed that the rain held off until the end, but we are thankful for the generous community support of our students and school. All proceeds raised from this fun filled day benefit the York Catholic Fund, which works to close the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating each student, give tuition assistance to those in need, enhance our curriculum, and provide technology resources for all students, as well as improve the safety of our school. Thank you to all who helped us 'tee off' another great year at York Catholic!

A very special Thank You to our Major Sponsors: Giambalvo Family of Dealerships, Kirby-Smith Associates, Inc., KBG Injury Law, Sal Castro - State Farm, Steven M. Carr Attorney at Law, Stone Grille & Tap House, The Stewart Companies, Winfosoft, Inc.

Students Lend a Helping Hand

York Catholic stands on its pillars of Faith, Mind, Heart, and Family and it's always gratifying when we hear of instances of our students putting those ideals into action.   This is an email we received this week that we thought you would like to read and share in the pride we have for our students:

Last evening I was picking my son and two of the other soccer players up after practice.  I shut the car off when I arrived. When the boys came out, I attempted to start my car, but it would not even turn over. Almost immediately, a YC soccer player asked if we needed help.  He then asked the other boys if anyone had jumper cables. One came over with jumper cables.  While those boys were getting my car ready, another soccer player pulled his vehicle over.  The boys hooked up the cables and within a few minutes my car was running. I was impressed that they knew what to do, but really impressed that they all jumped in immediately to help.  I am very grateful to these boys.  The YC Community should be proud of these boys.  I know I am. They represent the school well.
