Need help with non-instructional evaluations? There's a training for that!

We hope you're preparing for upcoming non-instructional evaluation deadlines. If you'e looking for some extra clarity on the NIE process, make plans to attend an upcoming training session. Know a teacher who's crushin' it? Give 'em a Teacher of the Year nomination!

Do you know a teacher in our District who's always crushin' it in the classroom? Show them some love with a nomination for the 2018 Teacher of the Year award. We're looking for teachers who care about children, devote their professional lives to enriching the lives of Tennessee students and demonstrate exceptional gains in student achievement. Your nominations will be used to identify and celebrate the top teachers in our District, who will also be considered for the TDOE's Tennessee Teacher of the Year. Nominations will be accepted through October 1 .
Work out to win big during the SCS Fitness Challenge!

Fall is around the corner, but that doesn't mean you have to retire your summer body! Get rewarded by staying fit this fall during the first ever SCS Fitness Challenge. Track your daily exercise by yourself or with a team of co-workers during the six-week challenge for your chance to win big! Yep, it's that easy! Just register online by October 8, and track your daily exercise (30 minutes or more) four days a week October 8 - November 16. We'll award prizes throughout the six-week challenge and at the end. Help wanted: volunteer to be a football parking referee!

We're still looking for volunteers to assist with U of M football game-day parking in the BOE lot. It's super easy, and the money we raise goes right back to students! Parking referees help collect money and guide fans to their parking spaces. You can help out for a few hours or the whole game. Click here to see available game days and volunteer opportunities.
