Church school class symbols - find your new class this Sunday

Dear families,

The new school year has begun (deep breath in, slow breath out). Whether the atmosphere at your house is one of anxiety or excitement (or some of both), there's no denying these are big first days and weeks. I would encourage you to pray with your children each morning or evening and lay all these feelings before God. Remind your child that Jesus is with her or him on the bus, in math class, in gym, on the playground and especially in the Principal's office.
Below is a Prayer for New Beginnings to pray with and for your child.

God, you were present at the beginning. Be with us as we begin a new school year. Comfort us when we are unsure of our new surroundings. Strengthen us when we stumble, and help us to remember that your light shines in all places. All this we ask through you, our Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer.
Amen

Church school and regular Sunday schedules resume on Sunday, September 9. Find details about classroom locations, times and curriculum on the  Church School page.

Finally, we are all fighting Form Fatigue this time of year, but our spectacular teachers and church administrators need accurate accurate class lists and contact information. If you are missing a form, extras are available in the literature rack or in the church office. Updated forms are greatly appreciated and necessary. Thank you.

With anticipation,
