Realtors Have a Duty to Reply in Writing that an Offer Has Been Presented, and NJ Realtors Has a Form: The Code of Ethics, Standard of Practice 1-7, states, “Upon the written request of a cooperating broker who submits an offer to the listing broker, the listing broker shall provide, as soon as practical, a written affirmation to the cooperating broker stating that the offer has been submitted to the seller/landlord, or a written notification that the seller/landlord has waived the obligation to have the offer presented.” To assist Realtors with this obligation, NJ Realtors has provided a form as a member benefit that’s titled, “Owner's Confirmation of Receipt of Written Offer.“ However, this is not a required form, and Realtors are free to choose the form or manner in which they provide the affirmation in order to comply, e.g., by email, text or other means. NJ.gov: Are People Allowed to Gather in Person (Updated 8/3/2020) Yes, attending a gathering, ceremony, or celebration is permitted as long as the event complies with the following limits on gatherings. Indoor gatherings must be limited to 25 people or 25% of a room's capacity -- whichever number is lower. All attendees at indoor gatherings must wear face coverings and stay six feet apart.
