Boys Volleyball is a short, fast season. If your son’s never tried the sport, now’s the time! The athletes gain an appreciation for a sport they might not be that familiar with while having a great time competing with their classmates. Team evaluations will be held late February/ early March.

Please contact Tammy Bauer sfxad@sfxlg.org if you’d like to register your student-athlete or would like additional information about the SFX spring sports season.

Building Our Future

Goal: $150,000 and 100% participation

THANK YOU to the families who have donated so far to Building Our Future!

Every Dollar Counts!

Many companies have the program and most will match 1:1. In addition, spouses can each request a match on one donation which could potentially triple the donation amount!

Building Our Future is a fund that has a 100% return rate to SFX. We must collect at least $150,000 this year to close the gap between the tuition charged and the cost to educate. This is a large number, but it's not insurmountable. We will be sharing regular status updates on how we are progressing as a whole toward achieving our targeted goal.

Families can choose to support this fund in a variety of ways: electronic fund transfer; credit card; or check.

Please consider establishing an automatic monthly payment as a quick and easy way to donate to Building Our Future. For example, if you arrange to have $150 withdrawn from your account beginning this month and ending in June - you will have donated over $1,000 in a 'painless' way! Truly - every dollar counts!

Thank you for believing in Catholic education.

All-American
Boy & Girl Program for 7th & 8th Graders from Congressman Daniel Lipinski

For the past 15 years that I have represented the 3rd Congressional District, my office has sponsored the All-American Boy & Girl Program. This program is designed to honor and congratulate young men and women in the Third Congressional District of Illinois who are involved in their community while excelling in the classroom as well as participating in extracurricular activities. I would like to invite your students to participate in this year’s All-American Boy & Girl Program.

The All-American Boy & Girl Program is open to all 7th and 8th grade students who reside or attend school in the Third Congressional District. The competition is a two-fold process consisting of an initial application due at my office located at 6245 S. Archer Chicago, IL 60638 by February 1st. 2019. After the finalists are chosen, they will be interviewed by a panel of judges, comprised of local community leaders, teachers, and other dignitaries on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

All finalists will receive Congressional Recognition for their participation. The top three finalists in each category will receive a plaque and prize at a ceremony scheduled for mid-March.
Click & Clap is our year-round positive recognition program allowing families to acknowledge special moments, and thank a SFX faculty or staff member for something they have done that has left a positive impression on a student or family in a special way.
Orders are due Friday, January 25th
Thanks for your support!

Question : I buy almost everything for our home and at work through Amazon/Amazon Prime all year long. How can I be sure that St. Francis Xavier Parish is receiving a donation from Amazon from my purchases?

Answer : The regular Amazon site does not donate. Do all your regular Amazon shopping at AmazonSMILE with St. Francis Xavier Parish selected as your chosen charity. AmazonSmile donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to St. Francis Xavier Parish!

Current students cannot be guaranteed enrollment if we have not received your registration forms. With the exciting move of Early Childhood classes back "Under One Roof", space will be limited and we will not be opening any additional classrooms.

If you have any questions, please contact School Secretary, Mrs. Peggy Evans (708) 352-2175 or pevans@sfxlg.org .
