from Fr. Timmerman
January 27 - February 2

Catholic School education is an investment. Many families work hard to cover the cost of tuition because they value faith-filled formation and quality academics
for their children.

Fast Fact: The Gaza Strip is 139 square miles long with a population of 2,000,000 compared to Butler County which is 591 square miles with a population of 8,000.

Robotics Teams Compete

Aquinas & St. Mary's Catholic Schools brought three teams to compete in the Nebraska FIRST LEGO League Competition on January 12 at Columbus Middle School.

This STEM based competition featured 40 teams, grades 4-8, to apply science, technology, engineering and math skills to solve problems. Every team has three main scores: core, project, and robot competition. Most are familiar with the robot competition; where each team builds a programmable robot, using Lego bricks, to complete certain tasks on a table-top playing field. Follow this link to WATCH the robot in action.

The MonarchBots are heading to State on Feb. 16 at the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum in Ashland. Congratulations to The Saints and Mario's Bots for an outstanding job well done.
