February 5, 2019

Dear Friends,
February 23-26 marks the Special Called General Conference of the United Methodist Church in St. Louis. The global denomination will receive and act on a report from the Commission on a Way Forward based on the recommendations of the Council of Bishops.

The Commission was authorized to examine paragraphs in The Book of Discipline concerning human sexuality and to explore options to strengthen church unity.

The Council of Bishops and our own Bishop Palmer has asked us to all be in prayer
- pray for three minutes every day - either 2:23-2:26 a.m. or 2:23-2:26 p.m.
Also, Feb. 23 is a day of prayer - more info here:
