This month I'd like to introduce you to Lisa Chapman, our new director of Strategic Initiatives.
Lisa joins us with more than 30 years of experience working locally to secure housing for people with intellectual disabilities and to end homelessness. We are pleased to have Lisa on board as she will work to advance our
mission and vision of leadership in innovative housing solutions that provide positive social impact. Her work will include developing partnerships that are the foundation for positive change for individuals and communities.
Before joining us, Lisa spent several years with the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH) which is a national leader in supportive housing, focusing on person-centered growth, recovery and success that contributes to the health and
well-being
of the entire community. While at CSH she worked on the following programs:
- Vets@Home Technical Assistance Team working to end homelessness.
- Michigan Hub
Additionally, she lead the team that researched and wrote the grant for the Frequent Users System Engagement (FUSE) program, using data matching to identify people who are frequent users of crisis systems. Once identified and securely housed, program participants have become healthier by being able to heal and undergo recovery in their own home.
Let's turn to Lisa now and give her a chance to answer a few questions.
