Penn State continues three-year streak of record-breaking gift commitments

Despite a global pandemic and national economic downturn, Penn State's alumni and friends have continued to show their support for the University at unprecedented levels.
President Eric Barron announced to the Board of Trustees last week that donors committed more than $381,323,670 in the fiscal year that ended on June 30, surpassing the record of $372,555,732 set last year and continuing a three-year streak of record-breaking commitment totals.
“Penn Staters have rallied to the need of our students and our institution with gifts that express their belief in our shared future and our capacity to lead the way out of the present crises,” said Barron.

The Alumni Association is committed to keeping all Penn Staters connected to one another and to the University. As part of this commitment, PSAA presents is an eclectic selection of virtual programming, including career-focused workshops, coffee hour-style chats with our CEO Paul Clifford, and conversations with Penn State experts.
All events are free and available to everyone, and we're encouraging Penn Staters to share this information with their professional and personal networks. Many programs are archived and available for viewing with closed-captioning. Visit our website to browse our library of archived programs.

What is your fondest Penn State Schuylkill memory?
I have many great memories of my time at Schuylkill mainly because I was very involved and had a great group of friends. The top of my list would be the Saturday Night Live production that the drama club put on during my sophomore year. With everything from filmed commercials and original content to a live band that played between skits, it was very ahead of it's time in 1979!
