After leaders at Atlanta’s
Davis Academy
heard some rumblings about dissatisfaction following the school’s pre-planning program last fall, they decided to conduct an all-faculty survey to get to the root of the problem. Although the results did not show a clear consensus, responses to one key question led the administration to introduce innovative changes to this year’s pre-planning sessions.

SAIS Needs You! How to Join an Accreditation Team
The people behind an accreditation review perform highly important work for SAIS member schools. The visiting team commends a school for its many accomplishments, provides valuable insight and advice, and helps a school with its growth plan. People visiting from outside the school community offer a fresh perspective that schools undergoing accreditation generally enjoy and appreciate. The team members also gain ideas and typically enjoy the experience so much that they are eager to serve again. Are you ready to join a visiting team?
