The National Baptist Convention of America is in a very unique position this year in that we will be offering a new sector to the convention, The B.R.I.D.G.E. The acronym B.R.I.D.G.E. stands for "Building Relationships in Diverse Generational Environments." This portion of the convention
will give individuals a unique worship experience tailor made for millennials. As the newly appointed National Director of the B.R.I.D.G.E. Young Adult Convention, I'm thrilled at the possibility of your church and or organization joining our funding efforts.
Many churches from across the U.S. and abroad regularly attend NBCA meetings, and this particular portion of the convention focuses on our millennial church members who are constantly growing within churches all over. Aiding individuals in attending this conference will not only provide them with an opportunity to learn more about unique worship experiences, but will benefit them by recovering powerful worship, fellowship opportunities with young adults from across the USA, and breakout sessions that are set to assist young adult ministry leaders with cutting edge tools to bring back to their local congregations and communities.
Ultimately,
the expenses to cover preparation of the convention will be costly. It is for this reason that we wish to ask for your financial support in a donation of $200, any amount that you are led to submit, as we seek to ensure that this is an effective and successful time together. We are accepting donations immediately and during the Mid-Winter Board and Mini Congress, February 25-27, 2019, in San Antonio, TX. If you are willing to mail donations, please send them to Greater Barbour's Chapel Baptist Church, 7420F.M. 1765, Texas City, Texas 77591.Checks should be made out to the National Baptist Convention of America, with Young Adult Convention written on the memo line. As a growing branch of NBCA, I do pray that you will grant us this request and, in turn, do I pray that the Lord will bless you for your kindness. Without givers like you, this convention could not have the impact or influence that it does in our convention community. With your support, we're attempting to partner with local churches, send out information and host sessions focusing on our millennial population. Together, we can make a difference.
