Dear Convention Brothers and Sisters:
On behalf of the National Baptist Convention of America International, Inc., the NBCA Home Mission Board, and the Progressive M & E Baptist State Convention of Florida, Inc., Rev. Bartholomew Banks, President, is asking for your help and contributions in responding to another Macedonian call.
We would like to thank you for your help last month when Hurricane Florence made landfall in North Carolina and South Carolina. As you are aware, I am writing this correspondence because of the extensive damage of Hurricane Michael. The Panhandle of Florida and particularly Panama City, Florida was hit in a catastrophic way. The storm trackers reported that Hurricane Michael was labeled a Category 4 storm and just short of a Category 5.
Our brothers and sisters in the Florida Panhandle area are in great need of our assistance. Based on the damages and demolishes we have assessed, they need our financial support as soon as possible.
Our NBCA Home Mission Board member, Dr. Julius Wynn and the First South Florida Baptist Association, along with local churches have set a goal for them to raise $25,000. I'm asking the Convention constituency to match their $25,000 goal. We have identified several churches that will need tangible funds to help restore their churches.
If you would like to make a financial contribution, please send it to the following address:
NBCA Home Mission Board

Please direct all Hurricane Relief inquiries to NBCA Home Mission c/o: Rev. Terry White at

Yours in Christ,
