Season's Greetings and Happy New Year

I want to take a moment to offer greetings in the spirit of this holiday season. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or other activities, it is my sincere hope that you find love and comfort with family, friends and loved ones.

The transition to a new year provides the chance to recall the accomplishments of the past year while setting the direction to guide the new year. In 2017, the Department of For-Hire Vehicles (DFHV) expanded grant funding opportunities and pilot programs; implemented the Digital Taxicab Solution (DTS); and increased engagement with the public through our agency website, social media platforms and podcasts.

We hope you are excited about the current progress and the possibilities in the new year. Without a doubt, the evolution of the for-hire ride is being driven by DFHV.

DFHV Live Podcast
   
Please be sure to tune in on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm for a live podcast. The Weekly Dropoff will record a live podcast with special guest interviews and listener call-in. This podcast will kick off a monthly series of First Friday live podcasts. The podcast is designed to provide insight about the agency and its services.

Holiday Hours

DFHV will be closed on Monday, December 25, 2017; and Monday, January 1, 2018. No in-person services will be available on these days. However, Lost & Found and disputes will be accepted. Please submit inquiries to [email protected], or [email protected]. Otherwise, regular office hours will be in effect.

All owners and operators licensed by or registered with the Department of For-Hire Vehicles are required to maintain their current contact information on file which must include a current mailing address, phone number and email address. Client Services will not conduct a transaction without verification.
