Our client is a European manufacturing of household products: small kitchen appliances and personal care products. Run by a western management team, with a “can do” and “focus on the positive side” company culture, our client services all major players in the industry and its operation in China has a few thousand employees and workers.
Title: Senior Life Cycle Manager
Location: Shenzhen, Guangdong, China
Report to: GM Global Project Management
Main responsibilities
:

Lead the team of life cycle management to meet all key indicators and ensure smooth execution during NPI phases
·
Define the strategic plan for LCM function
·
Lead the team in mapping, monitoring, reviewing, checking and ensure all new projects are transferring to mass production smoothly & flawlessly
·
Coach the team and build up the team capability to meet business requirement
·
Build up constructive relationships with customer and keep close contact with them to understand their needs
·
Identify the saving opportunity and propose action plan in all aspects
·
Define strategy in driving saving initiatives for all projects
·
Make sure all the new projects are running aligned with project milestone
·
Coordinate internal resources to maximize the value for the project
·
Define and review the headcount plan according to the forecasted business plan
·
Guarantee safe work environments and ensure all safety regulations are followed by staff
·
Follow and respect all state and company regulations and policies
·
Ensure good cooperation between collaborating departments
·
Continuously monitor cost reduction on all levels
Qualifications
:
·
More than 10 years’ experience in a multi-national manufacturing environment at manager level (or equivalent position)
·
Must be fluent in English (verbal and written).
·
Must know how to use MS – project and Project Web App
·
Solid experience in project management, preferred in home appliance or medical industry
·
Experienced in 5S, Lean manufacturing and Execution
·
PMP certification or Prince 2 a plus.
·
Bachelor’s degree or above, preferred in mechanical/engineering field
·
Experienced in stakeholder management in a matrix organization
·
Pro-active personality, able to take initiatives, with good communication skills, team work leader and people’s manager and motivator. Stress resistant.
