Welcome Back!
2019 marks the 34th season of Ski Challenge! It looks like it's going to be a great season with the early cool temps and the ski areas churning out snow! We know no matter what, our racers are die-hards! The members of Ski Challenge make our program the success that it is. You are enthusiastic for the sport and can't seem to get enough!
Did you know that Ski Challenge started in 1985 with around 35 people? It has grown to over 1,000 racers. This year we'll have 12 different leagues to choose from for regular season as well as a couple December preseason leagues
.
Many of our leagues allow ALL AGES to participate. And, we still offer "bonus leagues" for some of our leagues where you can take more than two runs per race.
We've added another day league to our Buck Hill list of leagues. Friday afternoons are available to race on with a team of six. You will also get more than two runs in this league as as it is considered a bonus league.

Registration Information
Individuals can register for both Preseason and/or Regular Season teams.
We still have openings in all of our leagues! If you are an individual looking to join a new league, let us know and we will find you a spot!

PACESETTER TRIALS
Ski Challenge Pacesetters usually average a 12 handicap or lower. An e-mail will be sent out in December inviting all racers with a 12 or less for a handicap to our Ski Challenge pacesetting Trials.

If you are interested in going to the NASTAR pacesetting trials please let us know so we can get you registered correctly.

Championships at Giants Ridge
Are set for March 1, 2, and 3, 2019 at Giants Ridge.
Championships at Giants Ridge is a fun filled weekend of racing which all Ski Challenge teams can participate in. Championships is not a required weekend, but it's a weekend not to be missed. Every team is placed in a division with like scoring teams making each division a fun, close competition for all teams. All team racing takes place on Saturday and Sunday on Innsbruck.
We also have an open Team Race on Friday that takes place on Innsbruck. Saturday we offer an open Individual Race held on Helsinki (King and Queen of the Hel). Helsinki is a little steeper, more challenging run, but all are welcome to participate.
We have great prizes to win throughout the weekend at the various events. We hope to see everyone there!

Captain Information - Submit Rosters and Running Orders!
As a captain, you are responsible for:
- Filling your team of 10 racers
- Making sure everyone on your team pays in a timely manner
- Getting your desired running order in
- Passing on all rules and information to your team

Basic Alpine / Snowboard Tuning and Waxing Clinic at Hoigaards
Saturday, December 15, 1pm - 3pm
Learn basic tuning and waxing skills to prep your downhill skis or board for the season. Join Casey Kirt from Fast Wax at Hoigaards for an end to end demonstration of ski and board maintenance. Topics will include selecting the right ski wax, maintaining your edges, and applying a new coat of wax.
