STATEMENT BY INGLEWOOD UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT REGARDING THE STATUS OF NEGOTIATIONS
At the District’s regular Board Meeting on September 19, 2018, the Inglewood Teachers Association (“ITA”) and California Professional Employees (“CalPro”) three (3) year collective bargaining agreements for fiscal year 2018-2021 were fully ratified by all parties and negotiations have concluded. “Please be assured that we consider our staff the foundation and the force behind our educational programs,” says State Administrator Dr. Thelma Melendez. “We are pleased to have reached a reasonable settlement. We are all working together to meet the educational needs of our students.”
 
The District is grateful to our legislators, the governor, our board members, and our labor partners for their support of Assembly Bill 1840. IUSD is committed to maintaining fiscal solvency and working with our labor partners to provide quality programs for our students and community.
