This Week at BJBE
February 4, 2019
A Note from Sally Sachar

Dear Congregants,

As we move into February and suddenly seem to have spring upon us (or a teaser of such), we want to thank you for your flexibility and understanding last week, when due to the Polar Vortex, we had to suddenly close BJBE for part of last week. We hope you remained warm and safe during the frigid temps.

There is a lot abuzz here at 1201, and we hope you will be on the lookout in the coming days for:
  • Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on Misloach Manot so that you will hopefully have all of your questions answered before the deadline for orders, which is on Sunday, February 10. Look for this tomorrow and feel free to contact Dani if you have any questions whatsoever about how the program works.
  • Purim festivities. Look for an email describing a robust array of Purim activities taking place from February 24 to March 20.
  • Invitation to our annual Gala (in the mail and digitally), set for April 6 from 7 to 11 pm - "From the Big Screen to Broadway." You'll have the chance to sing and dance the night away to movie and show tunes from across the decades!
  • Update on the youth activities at BJBE from Raya Seidman, Coordinator of Youth Learning & Engagement (look for this on February 11).
  • Update on the JLC and priorities for the remainder of the school year (look for this on February 19).
  • Breakdown of who does what in the BJBE Front Office (look for this on February 19).
Have a great week!
Sally
