Hi
,

Do you work systematically on big projects?  (2-minute video)

Systematic Planning

Let's talk about the  music for your next CELEBRATION

Especially about PLANNING your wedding or party music.

Want  to do it well?  Need help?  Let me give you a handy Tip.

But first, let me tell you a story:

A few years ago I started posting videos on my blog, and this
was the very first.  March 6, 2011.

I was awkward, glancing off to my notes and trying to sound "conversational", rather than "lecturing".

But I was determined to go ahead and explain why I find a systematic approach works so well on every project.

Thank goodness I'm not so camera-shy these days, but my original message is still true as ever.

Are you planning an event?  What strategy will you use?

I always recommend that people use a clear system for any
big project, especially event planning.

Whether you're planning a Mardi Gras partywedding music, or  an office holiday party, success depends on a systematic strategy.

For example, working systematically will help if any of these examples describe your current project?
  • Are you like Lady Gaga (remember her?) always needing
to SURPRISE people with something new and exciting?

  • Are you balancing lots of DETAILS that need to be analyzed, tested, understood, prioritized, and coordinated?

  • Are you working with close friends who need to absolutely LOVE the results?
  • Are you in charge and need to meet a deadline with perfect RESULTS, on time and under budget?

Here's that Tip I promised:
Work systematically.

Start by considering the "big picture".  Imagine the results,
list the details you'll need, create a "timeline", and tackle
the parts, one by one.

Get help wherever you can.  In every case, using SOME coherent system will help you reach ALL those goals.

Include all the important details, and measure your progress all along the way.

Keep all this in mind, especially when you create the mood
your  wedding and party music  will create.

And now that we're talking about
planning wedding & party music...

Halloween and Thanksgiving are coming up,
and you might be involved with planning an
exciting celebration.

And if you or a friend are engaged to get
married, you might also be involved with
planning the wedding.

Perhaps both.

So the next time you or a friend  are looking  for
upbeat, elegant music,  played the way you want,
