Tom Spitz and Dave Fink of Settlers bank recognized as In Business Executives of the Year
|
MADISON, WI, December 21, 2018 – Settler bank is proud to announce that Dave Fink, President, and Tom Spitz CEO and leading founders of Settlers bank have been recognized by In Business Magazine as Executives of the Year.
Tom and Dave are one of seven business and community leaders and the only leadership team receiving recognition for their leadership, innovation and company success. While a tandem honor is unusual, they attribute the success of Settlers bank to the structure of collaboration that is the foundation of their leadership values.
2018 was a clear reflection of just how successful their leadership style is where accomplishments include:
* Adding a third Settlers bank location, this time in a new market – Appleton
* Seeing a 40% increase in staff from 32 to 46
* Asset growth of 20%
* Increasing benefits package by adding additional voluntary term life and AD&D for employees, spouses and children at a nominal fee, that’s portable and guaranteed up to $100,000
* Continuing to support remote workers by adding an additional, full-time remote credit analyst
Dave, Tom, and all the honorees will be recognized at an awards reception on February 19, 2019, at the Overture Center for the Arts.
Settlers bank is a privately‐owned, premier provider of commercial, treasury, mortgage, and private banking services.

Holiday Tree Scavenger Hunt
|
|
|
Thank you to the 26 businesses that participated in the first annual Holiday Tree Scavenger Hunt! Check out all of the pictures on our Facebook page.
There were many unique and beautiful trees as well as door and window displays!
We were able to visit all of them and it was a very difficult decision, but the winner for the first annual Holiday Tree Scavenger Hunt is....Genesis Hair and Day Spa!
Sarah Schuppener was the creative designer of this unique and amazing "holiday tree"!
Event Essentials, with their tree made of items available to rent and Deforest Hometown Pharmacy's upside-down tree were the runner-ups!
The Business Development Committee is looking forward to doing the scavenger hunt again next December!
