Jumu'ah Khutba

Imam Basheer Bilaal will be the Khateeb this Friday. Khutba starts at 1:15pm .

2nd Jumu'ah Prayer will be at 3:45 PM In Sha Allah and the focus of 2nd Jumu'ah is school going youngsters.

Parking 
  • Follow all parking rules and only park in designated areas.
  • Be considerate and do not block others.
  • Do not park on the grass in the Korean Church.  
  • Only make a right turn when existing the parking lots from the masjid as well as from the Korean church.  
  • Follow the instruction of the traffic chaperones. Don't be disrespectful.
Weekly Dars
  • Imam Basheer Bilaal will give his weekly Friday  dars after Maghreb prayer (7:20).  Dinner will be served.

You need to make the appointment by sending an email to [email protected] or calling 610-799-6222 ahead of time before visiting the Imam during his office hours. 
   

School Registration

Registration is ongoing for this school year - register your child today to any of our programs:
  • The Manarah Ismalic school (Sunday school).
  • The Manarah Islamic Academy (Full time school).
  • The Manarah Islamic Academy (Part time preschool--8:00 am to 11:30 am)
  • Full time Hifz program.
  • After School Quran/Hifz program.
Stop at the registration desk in the lobby after Jumah to register your children. You can also visit the school building for additional information.  
 
As we have previously announced, our goal is to have all our children to take advantage of the unique opportunities of having a full time Islamic school in our community. Don't let your child(ren) miss out. Stop at the school for more information and Financial Aid applications if you need one. 

Sponsor a student of Knowledge in our school

The Manarah foundation established a Financial Aid program to support eligible families in need to allow them send their children to our schools. Many families have benefited from this program over the year. Thanks to your generous donations in support of the program. 
 
Due to increased number of applicants to the program, we have unfortunately ran out of funds and are in need of sponsors to help us fund the program so that we can process  many applications that are pending approval due to lack of  funds. Your donation will allow these children the opportunity to attend our schools and build the islamic foundation they need to develop themselves. We are in the first ten (10) days of Dhul Hijjah, a great opportunity to multiply your reward. Please be generous and donate to the financial aid program today. 
This is a great opportunity for Sadaqah Jariya.

Please pay your membership dues if you haven't done so yet, and become a member if you are not a member yet. The membership list is posted on the office door in the masjid; make the effort to check the list to confirm that your information is current. If your name is not listed, most likely you are not a member. Please become a member.

MALV Fall Open House:

The MALV Open House is scheduled for Saturday October 27, 2018 from 11am to 2pm. 
Please inform your non-muslim friends, neighbors, teachers, co-workers, your children's sports coaches, etc. Please click here for the flyer.  
 
This event is meant to be for those of other faiths, and only the MALV Volunteers should be present for this event.

Have Your Lunch after Jumah in the Social Hall
 
Our sisters are serving lunch after jumah prayer each Friday. The money raised by selling lunch goes to the operating expenses of MALV. Please buy and eat your lunch in the social hall and contribute to your masjid.
