College of Business and U.S. Bank Host Second Student Entrepreneur Pitch-Off Contest

This year, 28 teams hailing from four ISU colleges and divisions across campus competed for prize money sponsored by U.S. Bank. More than 50 students, from a Ph.D. candidate to a senior from Highland High School, pitched their entrepreneurial ideas in 10-minute presentations to a panel of 21 judges from campus, business and civic organizations.  Read More
Idaho State University Frank Church Symposium Set Jan. 31-Feb. 1

The International Affairs Council of Idaho State University invites all to attend the 2019 Frank Church Symposium. This year’s theme “The Best and the Worst of Us: Confronting Injustices in the World” will bring together academics, refugees and activists debating the challenges and successes around environmental justice, refugee rights and minorities rights . Idaho State University Remembers Alumnus James M. Rupp

Longtime Idaho State University supporter James M. Rupp, 83, passed away on Dec. 28, 2018, in Minnesota. Over the years, Rupp donated to the ISU Scholarship Fund, the library and the debate team. He and his wife Sharon were also the main sponsors of the James M. and Sharon E. Rupp Debate Society.  Read More
