Conquer Your Inbox

Did you miss Ryan Dohrn's Member's Only webinar in November?

When he realized he lost 174 hours of billable time each year because of the time he spent on managing his inbox, he went on a mission to “Conquer His Inbox.” This webinar offers nine tips. H ere are three you might want to try.

Check your email three times a day.  Morning, noon and night are good times. Scan for spam and mass delete. A virtual assistant can help cut through the clutter of spam.

Use templates any time you're writing the same email twice . Outlook and Gmail offer templates that can speed up the process when you're sending the same email multiple times; for example, a prospecting email or media kit request. Look for Quick Parts in Outlook or Canned Responses in Google.

Automate . There are a host of tools to automate email actions.
  • Outlook and Gmail have tools automate the next series of emails if a prospect doesn't reply.
  • Unroll.me can help you remove your email from the lists you don't want to be on.
  • Delayed Send in Outlook or Send Later in Gmail to schedule a day and time to send an email that has been written in advance.
  • Boomerang, a plugin for Gmail, will send an email back to your inbox if the recipient hasn’t replied in a set time.
