This year we enter into “Advent”, 40 days of preparing to more fully experience the birth and re-birth of the Christ, and the innocence and authenticity of our fully human, fully divine selves. Each Sunday, we will read the lesson from the advent book from Unity Worldwide Headquarters and light a candle in our advent wreath, then Rev Marty’s lesson will address that subject.

Faith How do you have faith with no evidence? How do you define faith? Is it the same as Trust? Where does faith come from? The traditional Christian definition is from Hebrews 11: 1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen"

Oneness Blessing - Thursday, December 6 7 - 8 pm T he Oneness Blessing (also called Deeksha) is a non-denominational transfer of energy from one person to another. Deeksha transmissions foster a growth in consciousness, causing one to perceive and experience life as inter-connected. It promotes a sense of joy, inner peace, and stress-reduction.

Unity Spiritual Center Port Richey   Is Celebrating the Holiday Season by Providing Christmas Gifts for Children Two Ways You Can Participate You can help provide “wish list” gifts for about 20 children from the Achieve Center Port Richey, one of our Pack A Sack school partners. Stop by the Angel Tree in the lobby for more information. Gifts need to be brought to the church by Sunday, December 16.

Another part of our Holiday Outreach Ministry is with “Charlies Angels”. Participate in this by bringing a wrapped present for a child by Sunday December 9--the day of our Christmas Pot-Luck. Please label the gift with the appropriate age and gender. These gifts will go to families in our community who may not be able to provide a gift for their children this Christmas. Suggestions for gifts by age group are in the lobby.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and your outpouring of love this Christmas season.

Orders for Christmas Poinsettias are now being taken. Place your order in the bookstore-- $15 They will be used to decorate the sanctuary and may be taken home after the Christmas Eve Service on December 24.
