Speaker Bio
Peter Pappas is an established expert in small business management.  He was Adjunct Professor of business and Director of the Mitchell College Center for Entrepreneurship.  Prior to that, he was Regional Director of the Small Business Development Center at the University of Connecticut. As an entrepreneur, he owned and operated retail, real estate, technology and service businesses. 
He currently is in private practice consulting on business valuation, purchase, sale and finance.  He has managed closely held business sale transactions up to $20 million as principal and consulted on dozens of transactions for clients.  For sellers, he optimizes exit strategy, for buyers, outcome.  Often, he works with both sides for a win-win.
He holds a B.S. in Industrial Management from Lowell Technological Institute (now Umass, Lowell), and an M.B.A. from Northeastern University.
