Cover Story: Welcoming our newest employee Crystal Beck

We welcome and introduce the newest addition to the Haven Harbour Marina Resorts family, our full-time Marine Store Parts Specialist Crystal Beck.

Crystal, born and raised in Rock Hall, has actually worked the Haven Harbour Marina store counter before, serving a time of 10 years as a customer service specialist and eventual assistant store manager of the former Ditty Bag from 2000-2010.

"I love our customers," said Crystal. "They're what made my decision to return so easy."

Crystal's new role is crucial for the smooth operation of marine store merchandising, in addition to providing helpful assistance and insight for both our customers and in-house service technicians.

"Learning the developments made here over the years, helping [Marine Store Manager] Barb and working with customers regular and new are what I'm looking forward to most."

Staff Spotlight: Bill Neff

Meet Bill Neff, Haven Harbour Marina's Service Manager and this week's staff spotlight. Originally hired as an electronics specialist, Bill will celebrate 16 years with us this winter.

"I like a challenge," said Bill. "But I also enjoy making our customers happy and working with a team of bright individuals who make that goal a reality daily."

Bill, a native of Kent County, points to younger generations for the survival of the industry. His advice: "Learn all you can, stick with it and take advantage of the many joys of boating and being on the water."

CLOSED WEEKENDS

Marina and office facilities will remain closed weekends throughout the winter months. Weekly hours are 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday.
