Stroll the historic grounds where John Jay returned to celebrate the treaty he forged to end the Revolutionary War! A very special highlight will be a performance by the
Hearts of Oak Militia.
The Hearts of Oak militia was based in colonial New York and formed in 1775. Militia members included students at King's College (now Columbia University) most notably,
Alexander Hamilton
and John Jay's brother Frederick Jay. The group has a fife and drum corps that will perform from 11:30 - 12 and again from 1:00 to 1:30pm.
