This year, because of your love and compassion, Hospice Savannah is celebrating 40 years of being here when our community needed us most. In these four decades, you have helped more than 40,000 of our friends and neighbors to live more fully through caregiving, chronic illness, end-of-life, and bereavement. Whether you are a volunteer, donor, patient, family member, or community partner, you have touched each and every one of their lives.

The video above was filmed to celebrate our 30th year. Sadly, the featured pioneering founders have since passed on, but their message, introduced by our former CEO, is still timely.
Our Message Today...
And now watch as our newly appointed President & CEO Dr. Kathleen Benton passionately explains how our Steward Center for Palliative Care helps friends and neighbors with Progressive Illnesses such as COPD, cancer, congestive heart failure, etc. years before they need consider end-of-life care...

Kathleen was interviewed during our Annual Lecture Series with Vatican Appointee, Msgr Renzo Pegoraro. Click below to watch an edited 35-minute video of their talk The Art of Living & The Art of Dying; Dignity at End of Life.

One Third of U.S. Workers Have Left A Job Due to Caregiving Responsibilities

This recent article  clearly lays out the toll facing caregivers who try to also hold down a career. Our Edel Caregiver Institute exists to help with that burden - whether through a support group, a referral to a coach to help you care for a loved one with dementia, a referral to a home health aide or respite service, a stress relaxation class, or more. Schedule a free and confidential consultation by calling 912.629.1331 and give yourself some love this Valentine's week.
Feeling The Love!
