Make as many friends as possible! These relationships are invaluable! Listen to
the doctors, nurses, and medical techs in regards to diabetes care and advice. It
can be easy to look at diabetes lightheartedly, but it is a serious condition that
can have serious consequences if not managed properly. Lastly, have fun and
make memories that will last a lifetime!
Since camper days there has been a lot that has happened. I graduated from
Seattle Pacific University's nursing school in 2016 and have been working as an
acute care renal/diabetic nurse for about two and a half years now. I teach my
patients many concepts and ideas that were taught to me at camp. I am
currently working at Banner Desert in Mesa, Arizona. I met my wife Kaitlin in line
at Starbucks on a Sunday in 2016 before driving out to Dudley camp for the
week. The Dudley camp family were the first people to hear about her! We are
as close to perfect as possible for each other and were married 8 months later.
We recently had our first child, Milo, on October 1 st , 2018.
Please feel free to reach out to me or ask any diabetes questions, my email is
