After premiering at Sundance 2018 and appearing at multiple film festivals worldwide, An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn will be hitting screens nationwide this month on the 19th! This offbeat comedy, written and directed by Jim Hosking of The Greasy Strangler fame, shot entirely in Humboldt County. The production used many local landmarks as prime locations, including the historic Eureka Inn and Bob's Footlongs in Fortuna. In addition to our unique locations, over 120 local actors, from 3 yrs old to 80(!), were hired as background. The crew also rounded itself out by utilizing locals. This quirky indy took full advantage of Humboldt's film-friendliness and we couldn't have had more fun!
