First of all, THANK YOU to all of you who came to Great To Be A Saint Day, Showcase Central, the High School Placement Test, and/or Parent Open Houses! I truly hope you and your families have enjoyed meeting Central Catholic.

This is a special edition of Central Catholic Connections because we're just going to focus on what you can expect as you travel though our registration process. I think this information will help you, so let's get started.

How To Become A Student
At Central Catholic High School
Becoming a student at Central Catholic High School is a simple process:
  1. Fill out this brief Application Form.
  2. After we review the application, we will e-mail you additional information including a link to our online registration form for all accepted students.
  3. Once we receive your online registration, we'll be in touch regarding a meeting with one of our counselors to enroll in classes.

Application Form Information
The  Application Form  can be filled out now (in fact, several of you already have). Your application is a formal indication that you wish to register at Central Catholic High School. If you are strongly considering, or know you want to come to, Central Catholic High School, fill out the application.

Registration Form Information
Starting the week of February 18, every family whose application is approved will be e-mailed a link to our online registration portal through Skyward. Please understand that this is our first attempt at online registration and, while we have tested it, there could still be some minor bumps in the road.

Registration Meeting Information
Once we receive confirmation that you've submitted your online registration, we'll send a second e-mail, this time with a link to the Registration Meeting SignUp Genius. These meetings will take place March 4, 5, 11 and 13 at a variety of times. Our Counselors are dedicating their time to you on these dates. After March 14, Registration Meetings will be scheduled directly with the Counselors and availability will be more limited.

When you come for your Registration Meeting, you'll turn in your signed Drug Testing Release and Student Handbook form along with your $300 commitment fee. The non-refundable commitment fee ensures your student's place in the Central Catholic Class of 2023 and will be credited to your tuition expense.

You'll then meet with one of our Counselors to determine what classes your student will take in the fall. The Counselors will use current grades and results from the High School Placement Test to determine a preliminary roster of classes. They will go over their class suggestions with you and you will have opportunity for input. Once you leave the counselor's office, you'll be officially enrolled and have a plan for the coming school year.

Additional Questions
Can My Student Join Me To Set Up Classes?  This is completely up to you. If you are comfortable talking with the Counselor about your student's grades and learning potential, then bring your your student. If you'd prefer a more private conversation, we can do that as well.

What If We Are Applying for Tuition Assistance?  Click here  for the most up-to-date information about tuition assistance including the Invest In Kids Act scholarships, Spalding Scholarship, and FACTS Grant and Aid. You must be a registered student at Central Catholic by May 1 to be eligible for tuition assistance. as assistance can only be given to registered families. In addition to filling out the FACTS Grant and Aid form, contact your Pastor to see if there is any additional assistance your parish can provide (Please note that every Central Catholic family in our Partner Parishes already receives assistance that bridges the gap between our non-affiliated and affiliated tuition rates.)

What Happens After My Registration Meeting?  When you leave your Registration Meeting, you and your student are members of our Saints Family! You will begin to receive additional information that only registered families receive including information about summer athletic team schedules.

Additional Questions? Call/text/e-mail me and we'll work it out. Thank you for your interest in Central Catholic High School!
