On February 2nd of this year, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow!! That means an early spring is coming!!!  This was only the 18th time since 1887 that Punxsutawney Phil has predicted an early spring.  With the various temperature swings we are seeing so far this year, it is important to be aware of the ground that we walk on. For example, it might look like the driveway or ground is not frozen, but there could be black ice which, if we are not careful, can cause anyone to slip or fall.  Again...be aware of your surroundings.

As we move into Spring, that also means the 69th RI Home Show, Flower & Garden Show is not too far behind.  The theme this year is 'Aging-in-Place' and AARP is sponsoring an Age Friendly Home.  Make a point to stop by and check out the various ways that you can stay in your home!
