Join us to kick off the 2020/21 Birding Season with Guest Speakers, Fresno State Biology Professors Dr. Tricia Van Laar and Dr. Joel Slade.  

Fresno Audubon  will provide an update on actions and continued member engagement during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Drs. Van Laar and Slade will give a presentation titled 'An Introduction to the Birds of Fresno State' and will also discuss ways to engage younger people in birding. 

Additionally, Dr. Slade will be talking about his research and goals of establishing a long-term color-banded population of birds at the San Joaquin Experimental Range.
