Board President Update
The community of San Marino is invited to the Board of Education's  last regularly scheduled meeting of the 2019 calendar year on Tuesday,  December 10, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. in the District's Board room at 1665  West Drive, San Marino.  Click here to view the full regular meeting  agenda.

The Board will also have a Special Board meeting at 4:00 p.m. on  December 10, 2019, to continue its ongoing discussion of "Best  Practices Supporting Effective Governance," Board values and goal  setting.  Click here to view the full special meeting agenda.

At its regular meeting, the Board will hear presentations and take  action on the following subject matters:
  • Organization of the Board of Education: various procedural matters, including the election of officers for the positions of president, vice president and clerk for the 2019-2020 year.
  • Barth Athletics Complex
    • Notices of Completion (contracts related to lockers and the shell)
    • Credit Change Order
  • Financial Matters
    • 2019-2020 First Interim Financial Report and Long Range Financial Projections
    • Interfund Transfer from Capital Fund to Cash Flow Fund (restoring money temporarily borrowed for the BAC)
The Board will hear presentations on the following subject matters:
  • Recognition of Facilities Advisory Committee Members
  • West San Gabriel Joint Powers Authority (JPA) Liability, Property and Workers Compensation Programs
  • Special Education programs and budget
  • Barth Athletics Complex Project Report
  • Dual Enrollment Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Pasadena Community College (PCC)
