The 2017-18 school year was glorious and provided an amazing foundation for the year ahead:
- Our graduation results were outstanding, with our grads welcomed at top universities in Canada and around the world. Nearly 90% of our students were offered university scholarships valued at more than $1.9 million. In addition, 19 students earned a bilingual diploma and 98% achieved Ontario Scholar status.
- Branksome is fully enrolled again this year and remains the school of choice for girls in Toronto, as we saw recording-breaking numbers of families at our Open Houses last fall. We have also welcomed 65 boarding students from 19 different countries.
- Branksome will host The Worlds 2019 from April 11-17. For the first time, the prestigious World Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championships will be held in Canada, at our school.
- Over 20 projects were completed over the summer to enhance our campus, including converting both Grade 5 classrooms into "classrooms of tomorrow", upgrading the Senior School Science Lab and renovating the Eaton Common Room.
- Our annual Service Learning trip to Costa Rica over the summer was another amazing success and we're excited to welcome our first group of exchange students from Spain on September 14.
Introductions
- "Branksome Welcomes" will introduce you to new faculty, staff and returning employees who have taken on new positions.

For the second time in Branksome history, more than $1 million was contributed to last year's Annual Appeal. The Annual Appeal's impact is evident everywhere on campus, including in our two new Grade 5 "classrooms of tomorrow" and upgraded Senior School Science Lab. Thank you to the many parents who joined generous Branksome alumnae, grandparents, employees and friends in participating in this remarkable community effort. Every dollar directly benefits our girls through school and program improvements, as well by supporting deserving girls through Student Financial Aid. Stay tuned later in the fall for our annual Donor and Giving Report, as well as information on the 2018-19 Annual Appeal.
