Livingston Pad Construction Scheduled to Begin February 12, 2019
Construction on the Livingston Pad is currently estimated to begin February 12th. The Livingston Pad will be generally located south of the Northwest Parkway, west of Lowell Boulevard, and northwest of Sheridan Parkway. Please view the public notice

Extraction Scheduled to Proceed with Plugging and Abandoning Nordstrom-3-9 Well
Extraction is scheduled to plug and abandon a well on the Nordstrom open space this week. The equipment was moved on site Monday, Feb. 11, 2019. Please view the full public notice here. The notice includes a map of the site and pictures of the the equipment expected to be onsite.
Construction to begin on the Northwest Pad Access Drive
Extraction will be starting construction on the Northwest Pad access road. The public notice for this work can be viewed here and includes a map of the area and a list of the equipment you should expect to see onsite. It is currently anticipated that snow removal in the access drive area will take place 2/14, with construction starting on Friday, 2/15.
Risk Assessment Report Completed
In October 2018, Broomfield contracted with DNV GL USA (DNV-GL) to conduct a risk assessment of Extraction's well sites:

To identify risks and mitigation measures associated with those risks;

To identify risks associated with recent oil and gas incidents in other parts of Colorado and any additional mitigation measures;

To own a professional third party risk assessment associated with a new oil and gas development to use further in policy efforts; and
-
To identify other mitigation measures that should be added to Broomfield's regulations.
DNV-GL is a global quality assurance and risk management company. The
agreement with DNV-GL authorized them to conduct a hazard identification (HAZID) process for the Extraction oil and gas well sites. The final report identifies risks and associated mitigation measures for each risk.
