Messages from Ministry

RE and Social Justice team leaders have been busy planning, as classes begin September 20th! Our theme this year is JUSTICE & EQUITY to support our young people in understanding key justice issues, finding their voice, and engaging in faith in action. We will also offer support for adults having conversations with young people about our three fall justice issues. Click HERE for the Fall 2020 RE overview and schedule.

Read the weekly RE newsletters HERE or sign up HERE to receive them in your inbox. IMPORTANT: If you already receive the RE newsletter, please click "Update Your Preferences" at the bottom of any weekly issue to confirm you have been added to the correct list(s) for 2020-2021. You are welcome to join all lists.

Water is the theme of our "Ingathering" worship service this Sunday. Adam Kent, our Music Director, has chosen solo piano selections to explore that theme that are playful, stormy, breathless and gentle. Read more HERE.

Share the Plate: WCC Student Emergency Fund
In September we share half our non-pledge collection with the Westchester Community College Foundation Student Emergency Fund. In these unprecedented times, WCC students who are low income are facing unanticipated hardships. Our donations will help meet their immediate needs, covering expenses such as food, laptops, online access, and rent so these students can continue their education during this challenging period.
Online Offering

You can pay your pledge, donate to the Share the Plate, or contribute to our Benevolent Fund or Minister's Discretionary Fund via PayPal by clicking "Donate" at our website cucwp.org. Or click the button below.
