Inspire, Empower, Lead:  Introducing Girls Lead YYC

Mark your calendars, because on February 21 we're launching  Girls Lead YYC , a five-week leadership program for girls in Grades 10-12!

Girls Lead YYC is designed to help girls uncover the leadership skills they already possess, while exploring new ones. This program will encourage girls to think critically about the world around them, equipping participants with the skills needed to identify, challenge, and address complex issues. Whether it's exploring topics like communication methods, healthy friendships and relationships, individual leadership styles, or community activism, Girls Lead YYC allows girls to identify the topics they'd like to see addressed, and creates a safe space where girls take the lead on addressing them.

Girls Lead YYC recognizes leadership can take many forms, and supports girls who want to work for meaningful social change in their schools, communities, or anywhere they see a need for it. Whether you're a girl with years of experience in a leadership role, or are simply interested in connecting with a group of inspiring girls your age, Girls Lead YYC is for you.

Applications for Girls Lead YYC are now open. This program is free, food and transit tickets are provided, and all girls are welcome! Click here to apply or learn more, and be sure to share with the girls and parents in your life today.
