What's a Polar Vortex?
If someone didn't know the answer to this question, and I certainly did not, it became quite clear as we ended January and began February. Mother Nature was not kidding!!

We lost six school days due to the snow and cold, and some of that will have to be made up. We will let people know as soon as possible how we'll be making that time up, but keep in mind that we still have February, March, and April to get through. Let's hope for no more snow days!!

We're into the second semester and looking ahead to registration for next year already. Please have a conversation with your children about their progress in their new classes, the changes to RtI and what classes they'll be taking next year. If you have a senior, please be talking to them about finishing their last semester on a positive note and looking toward graduation, it's never too early to start. We will not be changing the graduation date, it will be on May 24.

We have a number of opportunities for you to visit us and support our students in February, as our winter athletic teams complete their regular seasons and head into the playoffs. We are also hosting this year's Solo and Ensemble event for our choir and band students, on February 23rd. Come and visit us and see how awesome these kids really are!!

Have a fantastic February and thank you for supporting RAHS.
